Promise: It helps any level of gardener gain new skills, more confidence, and an opportunity for a mentor to look at a client’s in-progress garden and get questions answered, as well as hands-on experience with tending and harvesting.
Deliverable
An individual 60-minute in-person gardening sessions in your garden* to teach new skills such as planting, tending, trellising, harvesting, flipping a bed, or troubleshooting a pest problem.
(*For clients whose gardens have been installed by Green Thumb Gardening FW or DIY clients who have paid for a consultation and grow in line with our recommendations.)
Why It Works
When you have a new garden, it’s a bit like becoming a new parent. At first, you have no idea what you’re doing! Like kids, gardens are always changing. There are challenges as well as rewards, and there are often new things that gardeners want to try each season. It helps to have a mentor! Coaching helps gardeners have a go-to person to ask for help.
